Sprayed concrete can be used to provide support to rock faces, soil slopes and structures. Methods include infilling of voids and fissures (dentition), facing to anchored and nailed areas, and construction of reinforced beams and walls.

Reinforcement can take the form of steel fibres, traditional reinforcement cages, dowels/bolts and flexible mesh. The finish can be pigmented if necessary to provide an aesthetic finish.
